The San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site desires to be a living history laboratory to learn and train skills and improve the authenticity and interpretive impact of costumed living history programs at this and other state historic sites.  We hope to provide our volunteers with a number of types of assistance by providing historical clothing guidelines, group purchases, and commissioning specific fabric and prototype garments.  We will be publishing minimum authenticity standards that will need to be met by the time that the Villa de Austin opens in 2021.
